The Pact (2012)

In 7 words or less: Slow moving house-based horror.

Skype-based horror is all the rage in 2012
What's it all About? Based on the short film 'The Pact', sees a young woman who has recently lost her mother discovering a presence on returning to her childhood home. A spooky investigation into her mother's and her families past ensues. With mixed scare-results.
Google Street View based Scares.
Best bits? I'm impressed with the low-budget scares it is able to stir up. The DSLR style filming is nice and cinematic and not all shot at f1.8. As far as scares go, there's a couple of creepy ones and a couple of jumps. Instantly forgettable at the end of the film though.

DSLR viewfinder based scares...
Did it make you think thoughts? The story was a little confusing. I thought Rico from Starship Troopers was funny acting as an older man.... Salt and pepper beard. done.

Would you watch it again? No. No more. There's not that much joy in watching this.
