In 7 words or less: Coen's and 'The Dude' go bowling!Best bits? Just the the whole premise of 'The Dude' trying to get his rug back is hilarious. I like all of the bowling alley scenes with crazy rival roller, Jesus. Walter constantly ignoring anything Donny says is also fantastic. Mainly I just love Jeff Bridges acting out as 'The Dude'. Such a visual performance, highly detailed, even down to the way he sits on chairs throughout the film is really funny.
Did it make you think thoughts? Well yes, it does. I do really love this film but I always struggle with the last 45 minutes. It really tails off for me. I love all of the characters and it has some great laughs, it's just not as good as I remember. Hmmm, that sounds harsh, I know it's a classic!
Would you watch it again? Of course! I love hanging out with The Dude!
Rating (out of 100%): 79% For me this film is all about Jeff Bridges performance. Not sure how good the actual film is anymore but I still have a soft spot for it.
