In 7 words or less: Moon rocks are really bitey Moon things.
Best bits? That's some tough question. Certainly not the creatures. Certainly not the special effects and definitely not the way they are selling it as a true story. I'm not buying. The film is sold as real found footage from a secret Apollo 18 mission to the Moon. Once there, things get freaky when some moon rocks start coming to life. That's it.
Did it make you think thoughts? Only a handful of people have walked on the moon, and for that reason, this film fails. It's too high-concept to work as a found footage film. Most people watching this won't be able to relate to the astronaut's predicament. Maybe astronauts will find this scary? But they've been to space, so I doubt it.
Would you watch it again? Never! I'll keep returning to The Blair Witch Project. The finest of this genre. (because woods are scary, and people go to woods. Not the moon.)
Rating (out of 100%): 41% I was looking forward to this one, but it turns out it was a stinker all along. Peeuw!
